Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Song V-Lynn graduated from The University of Melbourne and worked in Melbourne for 4 years. During which, she did her PennHip training and obtained her certification with The International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. In 2008, she relocated back to Singapore where she completed her Masters in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery with Murdoch University.
Whilst working in private practice, Dr V gained a special interest in Pocket Pets and reptilian medicine from her sister, Dr I. Together, they attended and participated in various overseas conventions and hands-on training. This includes the Exotics Pets course organized by the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies. Dr V also became a member of the Royal College for Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and is a current member with the International Society of Feline Medicine. She is also in the midst of completing her Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Dr V is a mother of 6, 4 of which have fur and was fostered from young at the clinic (Monster, Pumpkin, Munchkin and Valentine). She is always keen to try anything new at least once and likes to D.I.Y.. During her free time, she enjoys attending various workshops, particularly those with a crafty nature and loves most sporting activities.
